On Saturday, a few of us headed out to the delightful town of Windsor to, among other things, see Windsor Castle.

The castle was rather impressive, I can now tick off having seen changing of the guards and have a one year pass.

It made me wish I had more knowledge of history. There were so many important figures buried in the chapel there, though the most pertinent question I had was which spot the Queen Elizabeth II had her I on.

Unfortunately we didn’t partake in Cream Tea in one of the cute tea houses there, but there’s always next time. I did however buy a pint glass in my favourite shape (30p), a yellow tinted hexagonal port glass (50p), a couple of books including Hornby’s About a Boy (started on that last night) and some Blackcurrant Licorice.
